Research Projects: Survey of Medicare Beneficiaries Who Involuntarily Disenroll from Their Health Plan

Purpose of Project:

Survey a national sample of beneficiaries who had to change health plans at the end of 2000 when their Medicare Managed Care plan withdrew from the Medicare Choice+ program. The survey is being conducted by RTI International while the data will be analyzed by CHSRA staff. The purpose of the survey is to determine the impact of plan withdrawals on beneficiaries' benefits and costs and health care arrangements.
