Research Projects: Identifying Effective Quality Improvement Activities in Nursing Homes

Purpose of Project:

Examine the extent and impact of quality improvement activities in nursing facilities on quality of care for residents and quality of working life for employees. Primary data sources: (1) employee questionnaires and (2) facility-level quality indicators based on the Minimum Data Set (MDS). Identify best practices among nursing homes in improving quality of care for residents and quality of working life of employees.
