At CHSRA, researchers seek to improve the quality of care for older adults and individuals with chronic health conditions. We accomplish this goal by partnering with academic collaborators and government and private organizations; applying innovative quality improvement strategies and dissemination and implementation research, and leveraging our expertise large data systems to examine existing payment models to inform policy changes and develop and evaluate pay for performance models. Multiple stakeholders benefit from our work including long-term care (Assisted Living and Nursing Home) organizations; community and behavioral health care providers; consumers; policy makers; regulatory agencies; as well as residents/patients and their families.
